Spokane, Washington, with its international airport is about an hour drive away. You can reach the Pacific Coast in about 6 hours. The Kootenai School District has a growing student population with about 155 students K-12 with an average class size of 13 students. The small community is more like a family than a traditional school. We are a small district, yet we offer a lot of opportunities for our students including welding, drone flight, astronomy, advanced math, history of film, psychology, art, music, after school programs, anthropology, and more.
