Be a part of the development of the Idaho Center for Outdoor Education. The district owns 86 acres of Ponderosa Pine forest on Elk Creek and Spanish Fork Creek in the Boise National Forest. The district is developing the space and outdoor curriculum in all disciplines. The district encourages teachers to incorporate the outdoors into your curriculum. Summer camps and Snow School opportunities available as well as all school outdoor activities in the spring and fall.
The district will examine your strengths and come up with the best teaching schedule possible. The district currently offers guitar, MS music, piano, choir. Secondary endorsements are encouraged as well as a variety of electives. Teachers with secondary foreign language, math, STEM, computer science, and English endorsements in addition to social studies will be given priority for interviews.
