Job Description

Promote and improve student educational success by assessing, evaluating and treating persons with speech, language, voice and fluency disorders through direct therapy and informational/consultative services.

This is a professional position with the principle function to provide direct therapy and consultative services to children who qualify for therapy under the state and federal rules for speech-language therapy. The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates and interprets test results, writes Individual Education Plans and works as a member of a multidisciplinary team to assess, treat and prevent communication difficulties. The SLP consults with and provides information to classroom teachers, parents, and other staff about speech, language, auditory processing and hearing disorders.
