The Richfield School District is seeking a K-12 Principal. The Richfield School District is a four-day school week school and receives tremendous parental and
community support and involvement. The Principal’s contract is for 190 days and the salary would be based upon experience. We offer a very competitive benefit package which includes medical, dental, life and disability insurance. Five paid holidays, sick and personal leave as well as PERSI retirement. The district will reimburse every certified staff member $300 annually for professional development or continuing education, and up to an additional $1500 per year to add endorsements or advanced degrees. Certified employees are also reimbursed for recertification fees.
Applicants will need a Valid Idaho teaching certificate with appropriate endorsements or plans to apply for an Idaho teaching certificate and /or proper endorsements; and pass the State Idaho/FBI Background Check.

Richfield is a small rural community school with a high school of about 60 students and K-12 enrollment of 213. The town is located about 45 miles north of Twin Falls, Idaho and about the same distance south of Sun Valley, Idaho. Twin Falls offers an outstanding Community College, shopping and entertainment opportunities. Sun Valley has excellent outdoor recreational opportunities, dining and cultural opportunities not common to rural areas and world class skiing. Richfield provides the security of small-town living, with access to outstanding outdoor recreational activities, incredible fishing is within in thirty minutes of town, including Silver Creek, The Big and Little Wood Rivers and Magic Reservoir. Trophy Elk and Deer hunting units’ border or contain the town of Richfield and there are also good bird hunting opportunities within minutes of town.
The school is the cultural center of the community and receives tremendous support from the community and parents. The school has two computer labs, each with a capacity of 24 students; we have wireless internet school wide and have purchased chrome books to provide one to one device seventh through twelfth grade. Chrome books are also made available to our Kindergarten through sixth grade students via classroom carts and the lower elementary devices are touch screen chrome books. Our students utilize online courses to address advanced opportunities, earn college credits, enhance our curriculum and for credit recovery.
In August of 2018, voters approved a $4,000,000 Bond Levy to replace and improve the HVAC system for the school building, a new Ag Shop and a new Gymnasium. Teachers in our school enjoy excellent parental, community and administrative support and small class sizes. The Richfield School District has provided face to face instruction this entire school year. We have also recently been granted a 21st Century to provide after school and summer programs and activities for the
next five years for our school and community. Extra-curricular activities are also an important part of our school; many of our students actively participate
in athletics, FFA and BPA. We have a full-time counselor and athletic director, 18 certified employees, a K-12 Principal and Superintendent.
